A & L Fundraisers Club - supporting the Thundersley Little Havens Children's Hospice (charity no. 1022119). We have raised £45,000 in seven years.

Sunday 12th August 2012 - It's Show Time.

This will be A & L Fundraisers nineth event to raise money in support of Little Havens Children's Hospice and will be at the venue of Purleigh Halt, Barons Lane, Purleigh. There will be displays of vintage cars, motorcycles, heavy goods, steam, farming and craft demonstrations, models, tractors, stationary engines, stalls, ring events, live music, cart rides and attractions for children, bouncy castle, small roundabout, etc. There will be a variety of hot food kiosks, ice creams, our own tea tent, toilets and ample parking. Other attractions are still being booked and will be added to this web site as they are confirmed. Entry price £5 adults, accompanied children under 16 free.

Confirmed acts for this year's event include live entertainment with Abbey Rogues, belly dancers as well as a companion dog show with free entry on the day, the popular Owls R Us display and Springstep Dairy from Mundon will be returning.

Also appearing in the ring will be the newly formed Ajax dog display team and heavy horse lovers are in for a treat with the Horkesley Park heavy horse display team, who are considered to be one of the best in the country. Other entertainment includes a farm animal display, rabbit and guinea pig petting pens, donkey rides and clay pigeon shooting, plus lots more. We had 700 entries in 2011.

A Real Life "Bargain Hunt"

This is our nineth event in support of the hospice. The show has grown year by year and raised more than £45,000 in total. The hospice has to find £2.5 million each year to fund its essential work for the terminally ill children in Essex and relies on donations to find this money.

On Sunday 23rd September 2012 our third annual Classic Car Show Autojumble and stalls and working day with ploughing, etc  will be held in support of Little Havens Children's Hospice. This will be taking place at Purleigh Halt, Barons Lane, Purleigh. For an entry form please click here.
